Remember Lithium has been classed as a critical mineral by the US and Oz governments.
This deposit will be at the very top end for size, widths are stunning, a multi decade mine. I do not believe you could get a major deposit in a better location for infrastructure.
If it was in China would an Aussie company get a look in - no way.
No doubt this deposit should be classed as a strategic asset and ownership stay in Australia.
