Property developer Lend Lease Group’s (ASX:LLC) $6 billion Barangaroo development has unveiled its first major retail tenant.Australian chef Matt Moran is poised to open a three-storey freestanding restaurant in a structure at the southern end of the waterfront designed to resemble a series of stacked shallow bowls.The site is currently under construction at Barangaroo and scheduled to open in-line with the launch of the waterfront dining precinct in early 2016.Barangaroo South Managing Director Andrew Wilson says the group is aiming to position the precinct as one of the best places to work and live in an urban city.Matt Moran will create the restaurant with his business partner, Peter Sullivan from MorSul, together with Bruce Solomon and Anna Solomon of Solotel.
Lend Lease Group lifted its annual net profit to $823 million in the full 2014 financial year.
