Isn't it always the same: when people feel good about a stock, any price is acceptable. If there is doubt, people find all kinds of reasons not to go long.
The last update actually contained plenty of positive info: Ellensfield South produced first coal a month earlier than expected, shipping is on track, we are now selling coking coal rather than just thermal.
The other stuff was old news. Mgmt was just very transparent about what they are working on and what the challenges are. People here wanted transparency - and now they got it. Isn't this a positive?
450-500kt sellable tons from Burton per quarter with a 50/50 or 60/40 split between coking/thermal and cash cost of $90/t when HCC is at $270 and NEWC at $160. Easy math and very good news! Can quickly ramp up to 4.5mt ROM p.a. once cash situation has improved and if prices are still strong.
Another way to look at it: just image how much money went into this company over the last few months. Mostly spent on mining and a lot of cash sitting in stockpiles. Not money lost, just deferred revenue.
