Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited (ASX:BEN) says it has successfully finished its purchase of Bank of Cyprus Australia.
Bendigo and Adelaide announced in December 2011 it had inked a deal to buy a local unit of Bank of Cyprus, that services Greek and Cypriot communities in Australia.
Bendigo and Adelaide says it has now obtained all relevant regulatory approvals and completed the acquisition.
In the first half of the 2012 financial year Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's net profit fell 67 per cent to $58 million.
