Yes, I remember your comment. I agree with you 100% Sally. This is a very smart move on BFC's part. Bottled water is hugely profitable to get into and it's not going to go bad if Dashang is slow with orders. Consumers are increasingly health conscious these days. Look at the booming market in probiotics and huge prices people will pay for VSL#3 and lacto-fermented foods such as sauerkraut, which is now appearing in supermarkets. Are they really going to wash down all these good bugs with water that smells like it came out of a swimming pool? I live in Melbourne,which is supposed to have good water, but you can smell it coming out of the tap. Of course there's filtering, but then you remove all the valuable minerals too. I thought I'd be the last person to buy bottled water but now I do. BFC's track and trace guarantee of authenticity will make it a stand out in the market. Consumers will know they're buying the real thing.
I should have taken my own advice and bought in this week but I spent so long dithering around looking for an entry point I missed the first train. I'll be looking to hop on again next week.
