A wise mate of Billy told me years ago that there is no money to be made in agricultural stocks. Unfortunately, as a holder of Aust Ag, Bega and Costa, I ignored his advice.
Scomo's answer to the drought is prayer. As an atheist, I haven't got on my knees yet, but very tempted.
On the upside, in recent years we've seen foreign takeovers of stocks like these, particularly in the dairy industry.
Meanwhile I'm living on Bega peanut butter and Vegemite.
