I doubt we have heard the last of the franking credit changes. Think mining tax
considering the resources of states is state property, the federal govt under estimated the response of the states to rebates, re: compensation for the loss of their taxes, by increasing their royalties to a point where the mining tax collected nothing
the same will happen with franking credits. Carve out's or low threshhold rebates with make the tax a joke and implement one more piece of complexity
