re: News: BHP Billiton warns over looming str... Hi Pear
i live in australia
and unskilled to my knowledge it does not require an undergraduate degree or phd for that matter to tow or operate a tugboat,
whether they have invested in the company is immaterial to their wage demands
grow up?? are u serious
u think its ok for a union and its members to blackmail multinational companies to give them more money
the idiot at bhp has nothing to do with this argument at all..
you left pinko bleeding hearts need to grow up and stop ruining this great country...it is the shareholders and bankers that have risked their hard earned here and deserve an ecomnomic return, they share in the pain and the profit.
the employee does not have this risk and is paid a wage regardless of return on those assets and the profitability of the operation should have nothing to do with the payment terms..they should be happy that they have a job and getting paid ridiculously well. To put to ransom the national interest and these companies is criminal
pear you need to realize that the world owes you nothing and that you have to work for waht you get and not expect to ride the coat tails of the gravy train.
