A short term closure of Port Headland may not be all bad. That would curtail supply to China, give them a chance to chew up some of the stockpiles and potentially re-balance the supply chain. The loss of exports could be recovered on a higher IO price once a bit of demand created.

I've expressed this view before. Its a bit like the Qantas decision to ground all of its flights to bring things to a head. Bit of short term pain, for longer term gain.
