SANTIAGO, July 10 (Reuters) - Chile state miner Codelco
produced 111,700 metric tons of copper in May, up a slight 0.7% from a year earlier, the South American country's Cochilco copper commission said on Wednesday, while other miners also increased production.
BHP-controlled Escondida (BHP) mine meanwhile lifted its production 26.5% from a year earlier to 106,100 tons, while Collahuasi, jointly run by miners Glencore GLEN.L and Anglo American AAL.L , saw output rise 6.9% to 46,200 tons.
