LIMA, June 27 (Reuters) - The chief executive of Peru's Antamina mine said on Tuesday the company expects to have approval for its life extension by the end of the year.
Antamina CEO Victor Gobitz said during an event that the country's mining and energy minister, Oscar Vera, told him about the deadline.
Antamina, co-owned by Glencore GLEN.L , BHP Group (BHP) , Teck Resources TECKb.TO and Mitsubishi 8058.T , expects to have its deposit's useful life extended through 2036.
