That's why I'm thinking the estimates of a halved dividend are unrealistic. Surely it should be slashed lower, I really can't see the benefit for the company (in terms of riding out the storm) by frittering this money away on dividends. Selling pressure? Who really cares, at the point it matters (if they require a capital raising), everyone knows the dividend is gone anyway, so it's not like a higher dividend now helps.
