A lot of this is the social license to operate sphere. I think a lot of you forget just how dumb the average punter is. The anti everything brigade hate miners, not understanding everything they consume or live in is a result of mining. They do not get that renewable energy production requires non renewable infrastructure from mining. Ideology over logic. So as a result we invest in this stuff, however unfeasible it’s likely to be, to shut these idiots up.
