Black Fire Minerals (ASX:BFE) has raised $2.4 million and completed the acquisition of mobile games developer and publisher Animoca Brands Corporation.
The company will update on when its securities will relist on the ASX as Animoca Brands Corporation.
As part of the acquisition, the company has appointed David Kim as its chairman, Robert Yung as its managing director and Yat Siu, David Brickler and Richard Kuo as directors.
Martin Green remains as a non-director of the company while Matthew Sheldrick and Michael Billing have stepped down with effect from 24th December 2014.
Animoca Brands is focused on creating games using licensed intellectual properties, as well as publishing well-known games developed by third parties.
Several Animoca Brands mobile games leverage a portfolio of globally-recognised brands including “Garfield,” “Ben 10,” “Doraemon,” “Ultraman” and other popular licensed intellectual properties from around the world.
