Black Rock Mining (ASX:BKT), formerly Green Rock Energy, has completed 2,200 metres of diamond and reverse circulation drilling at its Mahenge project in Tanzania.
Significantly, all 16 holes drilled at the Epanko North prospect started and ended in graphite mineralisation.
This indicates wider zones of graphite mineralisation than mapped last year.
Over 1,100 samples (2 metre composites) have been submitted for assay with results expected during April.
Pending assay results from the recently completed programme, work has started on the design of an infill drill program planned to commence in June.
This is designed to define a JORC compliant resource at Epanko North and to continue defining graphite mineralisation at Kituti.
Discussions are underway with consultants to provide metallurgical test work services.
