News: Black Rock Mining's MD Steven Tambanis acquires more shares

  1. Black Rock Mining's (ASX:BKT) managing director, Steven Tambanis, has further aligned himself with the success of the company, after spending $25,000 to acquire 526,315 shares in an off-market acquisition.

    The average purchase price was around $0.048.

    Tambanis now holds around 2.5 million shares, 1 million options and 3.35 million performance rights.

    Black Rock is focussed on graphite exploration in Tanzania, and last week delivered its best ever intersections from its Mahenge project.

    The results came from the Ulanzi prospect, which will now receive a 30-hole program aimed at delivering a resource by the end of the year.

    The strike length of the prospect now extends over 5.5 kilometres.

    Black Rock has been an ASX star performer recently, including a 12-month high of $0.094. It closed at $0.086 on Friday, which is double where the company was trading just three weeks ago.
