    Blackgold International's (ASX:BGG) shares are in pre-open following the ASX granting the company a trading halt.

    Blackgold requested the halt pending the proposed sale of its assets to Matex International (SGX:M15), a company incorporated listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST).

    The halt will last until the opening of trade on Wednesday 18th March 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
