re: News: Blackthorn to have 100% of Mumbwa a... bazza, the concept study was definately supposed to be completed with the last phase of drilling. if bhp were to continue that was going to lead to a pfs.

the concept study simply doesnt look to have been done. worse still, scott has been totally silent on the matter not even offering shareholders a public explanation.

glencore are presently only involved with perkoa. there is not one ounce of evidence to suggest glencore will get involved with mumba. not suggesting that is impossible but its nothing more than a punt at this stage.

btr do not look expensive at these levels but perkoa was never their blockbuster project. its a handy zinc project but worth acknowledging that zinc is presently viewed as a lousy metal and lme stockpiles continue to grow. if glencore can commercially extract the silver that would be a game changer!!!

again, im very surprised burkina faso gold has been sent to the backburner. i have been a long time follower of BTR, around 2.5 years now....have to say, scott reminds me of the race between the tortoise and the hare (he being the tortoise) - he is so damn conservative. lets hope that like the tortoise he eventually comes out on top.
