Blackthorn Resources Limited (ASX:BTR) says it will proceed with its African joint venture with Glencore International who have provided an expansion proposal for their Perkoa project in West Africa.
The expansion includes increasing the plant by 40 per cent.
The total project cost is expected to be about $US70 million.
In first half of its 2012 financial year Blackthorn Resources booked a net loss of $1.6 million.
