    July 30 (Reuters) - Australia's Boral Ltd (BLD) said on Friday it appointed Seven Group Holdings' (SVW) boss Ryan Stokes as its chairman after the diversified investor raised its stake in the building materials supplier to nearly 70%.

    Boral also announced the retirement of its chair Kathryn Fagg, and the appointment of Richard Richards, a Seven Group nominee, as a board director.
