neither the trailing nor the forward p/e are anything like your claimed figure of 30. on the other hand BLD is on a trailing PE of 48 ( EPS in 2023 was 13cps ) and forecast forward PE of 27 despite being in a very cyclical business that doesn't deserve those sorts of numbers
