BlueScope Steel Limited (ASX:BSL) has restarted its Waste Gas Cleaning Plant after it was shut down by fire earlier in the week.The company says the Sinter Plant at Port Kembla has received approvals from the NSW EPA to enable iron and steel production to continue without interruption.The Sinter Plant will operate under a temporary reconfiguration until the plant can be recommissioned which the company says is likely to take 6-8 weeks.The fire started in an 80-metre stack on Monday night sending clouds of smoke across Port Kembla and the stack partially collapsed.Bluescope Steel reported a net loss of $40.2 million for full year to 30th June 2014.
