House broker Hannam & Partners' Anish Kapadia speaks to Proactive about independent helium exploration and production company Blue Star Helium Ltd (ASX:BNL, OTC:BSNLF).

Kapadia sees Blue Star benefiting from soaring prices due to the tight global supply of helium following a downturn in supply from key producing countries the US and Russia this year.

Demand for helium, meanwhile, has remained steady owing to its unique properties and supporting prices.

Blue Star is also well positioned to take advantage of what Kapadia calls a "major CO2 shortage" as the company produces carbon dioxide as a byproduct of its helium extraction process.
