Scomo mentioned yesterday there has been NO suggestion of Ozzy banks suspending divs. They are all holding squillions thanks to unbelievably tough prudential rules. As well BOQ and ANZ have both recently raised cash.
Much more likely of a reduced div. BOQ most recent div was 31c. Let’s say 10% cut to 28c . Even that gives you an ultra impressive fully franked div with sp at $5.
Scomo knows as do banks that suspension of divs will Decimate SP and cause utter chaos. I have been wrong many times before though! Wednesday will tell.
