The Rowville, Victoria-based company, which manufactures portable appliance tags made from rigid synthetics and PVCs, had been on the hunt for a digital alternative for a while.
The company began its collaboration with Victoria-based Mikoh after spotting a variable data printer on the company's stand at PacPrint in Melbourne.
Promark worked with Mikoh to develop the machine, which is the first to use Xaar 1001 print heads from UK inkjet manufacturer Xaar.
Promark expects the variable-data press to be installed at its head office in Rowville by October 2010.
I'm lead to believe "that news" relates to the delivery of said machine, or something like that. So not so new Gulf!!
