Buxton Resources (ASX:BUX) closed yesterday at $0.215, which is about double where the share price was just two weeks ago.
Providing the upward momentum has been a new nickel-copper discovery at its Double Magic Project in Western Australia.
Highlights include: 8 metres at 3.05% nickel and 1.87% copper from 50 metres, within a broader intersection of 14 metres at 2.04% nickel and 1.36% copper from 47 metres down hole.
Buxton is now heading to market with a capital raising, and the ASX has granted the company a trading halt to prepare.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Thursday 20th August 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
