The proposal is now for an IPO to raise $500m. Only a few weeks ago CFE were touting $700m...but whats $200m in the scheme of things?...some mind games going on here I think.

I would imagine that brokers will not be the only stakeholders in discussions with CFE next week. CFE want (and need) either a buyer or a major shareholder for this Marampa project. As simple and as difficult as that.

It will all come down to negotiation and what can be squeezed from the deal. All they need is 2 interested parties and this deal could double CFE's market cap overnight.

Note: I sold some CFE shares today but will pick up some more in the next week or two. I have a funny feeling about Sundays Carbon Tax announcements and how they will affect Aussie mining stocks. I know this should not affect CFE too much but markets can be irrational as we know.
