The difference is that CMY has shares in an unlisted vehicle not a listed vehicle , so you cannot compare it to a listed company, the valuations between listed and unlisted are different, people seem to think you are buying a direct interest in Broken Coast you are not, the SMH article was wrong, Broken Coast is not listing on the ASX.
