Capital cost have gone up hard since the start of the year. This has spooked the market a bit..
Mortgage exposure to a perceived bigger bad debt is possible here but until unemployment goes higher then that is just a perception.
The improved revenue environment from higher rates will more than offset the higher funding cost. That is where deposits will make the big difference between the banks. CBA with moat like market share and not having to rely on growing the loan book to maintain earning should do well.
