Chalmers, who might be the Treasury Secretary a.k.a. Treasurer, says they are going to fully implemented the findings of all the Hayne Royal Commission and make banking “more competitive”. Like everything else in the campaign, the policies are not really known or forgotten about by their Leader but CBA might be in the front line of the reforms.
Democrats in the U.S. have been trying to break up the big banks for years to no avail in the CAongress but under the Australian system, CBA can be broken up more easily IMHO if Labor gets a working majority in the House and Senate.
