Yes, it will all get quite reactionary. IMHO Labor will crack down on CBA, probably break it up with anti-trust/ competition regulation.
I do not like Labor’s chances in Government, and do not like CBA’s survival chances, I think it will be broken up and have to divest its subsidiaries such as BankWest and others.
CBA was really quick to pass on the rate rise.
CBA must be getting ready to hurt, I do not like it’s chances or any bank’s ability to weather the heavier regulation, all the associated costs and penalties/ fines.
