That would be nice. I've got access to 880k to capitalise on cheap house prices. Can you imagine buying houses for $350k, what a dream! That would be like me buying my first house 15 years ago!
Covid is a scourge to humanity and my heart goes out to those families affected. But I absolutely only have contempt to those that over extended themselves and for far too long. Those living pay cheque to pay cheque driving brand new cars every year only have themselves to blame. Covid is just the straw that caputs the Camels back.
Never let perfectly good crises go to waste. CBA, properties, any assets going for huge discounts you bloody buy it! Those that have been frugal enough to drive a 10 year old car and prepared for a rainy day....this is your time to shine!
Hope for the best but absolute prepare for the worst.
