The RBNZ problem might go away over the weekend as Ardern resigns due to the Arderngate Labour Abuse Sex Scandal. Only four resignations thus far with Chief Haworth but Ardern, the employer at the heart and soul of the scandal wantonly clings onto this power (and the abuse of it).

i think the other banks have more of a footprint in NZ such as ANZ, BNZ and Westpac NZ so perhaps CBA might not be helped with ASB but hindered but for NZ, a change from an anti business Government to a pro business Government has to be a good thing.

And Ardern has presided over the Christchurch massacre, the parliamentary sex scandal, foreign graft accusations not to mention the climate change troubles and all of that did not help CBA.

perhaps Arderngate benefits all of them including CBA ASB.
