I dislike capital raisings, and without good reason to raise capital, I prefer that they do not happen. The rest of the news does not depict a storm that could not have been ridden out, IMO. As as a rule, it makes no sense to me for a company to pay dividends and raise capital at a discount at the same time. I have not had time to digest the material, and I must go out now, but the market might like the announcements. I'll look at the matter tonight.
