BEIJING, Oct 11 (Reuters) - China fully guaranteed Australian journalist Cheng Lei's rights in accordance with the law and respected Australia's consular rights including visits while she was being detained, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Cheng, who was detained on national security charges in Beijing for more than three years, returned home on Wednesday after being released.
