BEIJING, July 12 (Reuters) - China will continue to provide economic and technical assistance to Vanuatu "without any political strings attached," Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a meeting with Vanuatu's prime minister, Chinese state media reported on Friday.
In a separate meeting with the prime minister of the Solomon Islands, Xi said that China's cooperation with the Solomon Islands and other pacific island countries was a "sincere attempt" to help them achieve development, state media reported.
