BEIJING, Aug 7 (Reuters) - China's imports of iron ore climbed nearly 10% in July from a year earlier, customs data showed on Wednesday.
The world's largest consumer of of the key steelmaking ingredient imported 102.81 million metric tons last month, data from the General Administration of Customs showed.
China's iron ore imports totalled 713.77 million tons in the first seven months of 2024, up 6.7% on the year, the data showed.
