I think they would need 2.5 million for the hemp to be an player in the market long term they would need to raise larger funds in the future to build land holdings and greenhouses etc. There is plenty of farmers with millions already invested in hemp which makes croplogic small. Equipment costs aren't cheap for the machinery setup for hemp and to process hemp onsite to maximise roi instead of sending to third party processes.

smart option would be to raised 2million from the bank instead of given portion of the company away. Banks are willing to lend to farm businesses in the states easily 1-2 million is an easy raise from banks of equipment and infrastructure for a farm secured by assets.
