Thanks for responding. Do you mean that I should bank the capital loss into financial year 2017 and use it for my profits in that year. I am certainly trying to get capital gains right now to use it in this financial year.
If you are suggesting that I drop my sale price to 92c, I am pretty sure that Commsec will not allow it since the two trades are considered by them to be related parties.
Its funny that since I put in that first comment, the only trade I have got is a purchase of the shares at 92c
I do think CMI are fair value so I don't mind buying them but clearly the sale is what I want right now.
