By market do you refer to the healthcar/bionics or equities in general?

Thanks for that - where'd you pull it from? I've seen a few thrown around from various sources (brokers of mine etc) - but I'm unsure how 'live' these are? They never state when these ratios were last calculated or based on, and i neither had the time to pull out financials and try and work it out.

Return on Equity is essential Ebit/Equity from memory. Unsure if they use net income (post tax), makes more sense to me as EBIT is essentially earnings before tax you essentially have to pay anyway, so why not count the net figure after?

Got in at 58... at a peanuts amount of shares.. but still part of my significant shift in portfolio building from speccies/resources/gold which have dogged me in volatile timeS (great in good times a yr or two ago)... hopefully right decisions have been made and we'll see $60's+.

I Was hoping for $57 but the share price just couldn't get below $57.30... watched it race past $58 and took the plunge. May be another one of those 'suckered in chasing after a stock' moments, and the price hits $57 tomorrow (as they always ironically do after you chase a buy or conversely a sell) but hopefully the LT improves.

I'll admit I went in based on those ratios above plus hearing some smart money going in (fundamental based, not technicals). But will admit they saw and hit the $52 somethign low and hence it spiked... abit late onto their boat so they may be grinning and not me... but the directors got in from $55-57 depending on who per recent 3Y's... god hopes they have faith where they put their money! :)
