The million dollar question is how much of our 40% stake in Mahalo will we exchange for our share of funding after having dipped into the North Australia Infrastructure fund or any other debt based funding?
Can anyone remember the figure that was floated as being the cost of bringing Mahalo to production?
Once we know that figure with 40% being attributable to us after any debt funding - then it will be interesting to see how much of Mahalo we have to give away especially as the entire company is worth only $60.75 million (market cap now).
Unfortunately we are negotiating from a position of weakness with few alternatives available - so I'd imagine the entlty taking on our share of funding to production will play hard-ball.
What's the betting it will be Santos?
