I worked for masters home improvement( now closed, was a division of Woolworths ). Before and after working for them I was a licenced security guard. I caught people stealing, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. I now work for coles. Company policy is ignore and do nothing for both Coles and woolworths.
I'm not having a dig, but just saying how it is.
That security guard is simply there as a prop, some kind of deterrent. Most of the time if you challenge them they just laugh at you because they know their rights over ride every bodies except the police.
