Yeah, i'm sure a multi billion dollar public company decided to steal a measly $20 million over 6 years just for fun and because they like to make life as bad as possible for their employees, who cares about the PR repercussions...
In all seriousness, even though this was a mistake, it still demonstrates that perhaps companies aren't keeping on top of wages etc. as well as they should, and something could still be done to prevent more of this in future. Comparing this sort of thing to actual wage theft is a bit silly though, no?
