What about all the jobs that won't exist in the tourism industry because so many people will decide not to come to Australia because the internal flights are so expensive?
Or all the cities outside Mel/Syd & a few other places people will decide not to visit while they're here.

It's just ridiculously short sighted & will impeded the economic recovery when solutions were available that wouldn't risk a dollar of taxpayer money.
