    My take on this is that BHP want to complete BFS on all technology aspects. For this APG need to prove scalability for all processes.

    Anyway, that makes sense to me. After all DRI is an allied process in treating minertal sands, particularly ilmenite, as there is a substantial amount of iron oxide in mineral sand deposits.
