No doubt an amazing company. Would you buy CSL or all of the banks that are trading on 10-12x PE and 7-8% yields? There will be rotation and funds can sell CSL down to $200 and still be up as they switch in to companies that are cheaper and provide better yield. In a bear market / recession nothing trades on a premium regardless of how bullet proof the earnings are. Many stocks are now back to December 2018 lows, CSL was $178. Also any hit to revenue impacts greatly on NPAT.

Look at the news articles from the US. Hospitals and doctors refusing to see patients. Who is going to be 'donating' blood for $50. All of the cetres are in the poor demographic areas where poor people sell their blood. 6 months of inventory can disappear fast. Can they collect 3m litres a year?

These are just the Texas (35), Florida (20) and New York (10) collection centres (Washington only has 3), search for yourself and compare to the covid19 cases. America hasnt started testing yet. Self quarantines are happening. Senators/Congressman have been exposed and in self quarantine. By my count there are 246 centres in the US.

But dont worry, it's just the flu and CSL will have a vaccine in 18mths which like other flu vaccines dont stop the enormous number of cases or deaths that the flu has each year.
