Biopharmaceutical company CSL Limited (ASX:CSL) has been voted the best performing company and the company with the best growth prospects by fund managers and equity analysts.
An annual survey of fund managers from East Coles also placed CSL’s chief in the top spot and placed the company highly in the most effective board and best earnings quality categories.
CSL was joined in the best growth prospects category by Regis Resources Limited (ASX:RRL) and Ramsay Health Care Limited (ASX:RHC) and in the best company category by Coca-Cola Amatil Limited (ASX:CCL) and Ramsay Health Care Limited (ASX:RHC).
Shares in CSL have risen almost 70 per cent this year giving the company a market value of $27 billion.
CSL reported a net profit of $982.6 million in the 2012 financial year.
