Is a little over $2 premium on previous price that wonderful? With the increased population in future years needing more houses, it may have reached that price by itself. Also the big property.portfolio - why should foreigners get that ? Wasn't it to be monetized in one way or another? And property is close to the most valuable resource, as there is not enough of it.
The French company would be getting the business and the irreplaceable property - at far less than 30% premium.
