I'm not sure if any of you are already aware of this, but it is going to be a terrific boost for the Uranium Industry.

"Australia’s uranium industry has the potential to generate additional national wealth upwards of $14 billion, while helping the world’s economy avoid billions of tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, according to new research released today.

The Executive Director of the Australian Uranium Association (AUA), Mr Michael Angwin, said the new study demonstrated that expanding Australia’s uranium industry to its potential would deliver “highly positive” economic and environmental benefits to Australia and the world.

The Minister for Resources and Energy, Mr Martin Ferguson, launched the research report with Mr Angwin in Canberra today. The report, Outlook for the Uranium Industry: evaluating the economic impact of the Australian uranium industry to 2030, was commissioned by the AUA from Deloitte – Insight Economics. It is the first major research on the economic development of the Australian uranium industry in 15 years."
