Thats kind of my point. SDR's have been around since the 60's, thats 60 years give or take and yet your average man on the street would not know what they were.

This means that things are NOT "boiling in the background" but more like "progressing at the pace of a sick snail", hence decades yet before any real change in reserve currency.
